Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our back-of-house team. This role is crucial to the success of our daily operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. You will assist with food preparation, dishwashing, and cleaning duties.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with basic food prep tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients at the direction of the prep chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and storage spaces.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards.
• Remove trash and recycling and keep the kitchen tidy.
• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Support the kitchen team as needed to ensure smooth operations during service.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a kitchen or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be available to work weekends.
