Job Requirements: Bar Pomona is a small neighborhood wine bar and jam shop in the Marigny. We offer a pleasant and relaxed working environment. We are looking to add a part-time baker/brunch line cook to our small team ahead of a busy fall season!

This role requires one prep shift (Wednesday) and 2 'bake-off' and brunch line shifts per week (Saturday & Sunday). Bake-offs happen later than at a traditional bakery (between 7 and 7:30AM start time) and could be described as small volume.

Previous kitchen experience required. Must be willing to share tasks with the team including dishes, re-stocking the line, and keeping your workspace and the restaurant tidy.

Everyone works together on side work and dishes to keep the restaurant running smoothly. We don't have a traditional front of house and often operate with one kitchen staff member, one bartender, and one floater. Everyone enjoys the same rate of pay and tip out. Employees enjoy a relaxed and organized work environment and pleasant, friendly, and respectful clientele.
