FAQ

+ When is check-in?

Evening classes begin promptly at 6:00pm, but plan to arrive 15 to 30 minutes beforehand so you have time to check in and settle in. We'll be pouring bubbly!

+ What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

You will find ample street parking and several paid parking lots in the blocks surrounding NOCHI. The streetcar also runs directly outside our building!

+ What is your cancellation policy?

Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferrable. If your plans change, we encourage you to sell or gift them to someone, but feel free to reach out to us and we will do our best to help you transfer them to someone on the waitlist.

+ Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

We absolutely love kiddos, but unless otherwise noted, most classes are designed with adults in mind. Enthusiasts from 12 to 16 years old are welcome to participate if they are accompanied by an adult. In order to ensure the safety and comfort of grown-ups and minors alike, each participant must have their own ticket and actively participate in the class. We serve alcohol to anyone age 21+ and will be checking IDs upon arrival.

+ What should I wear?

Closed-toe, no-slip shoes are an absolute must in ALL hands-on classes — we’ll be cooking in a professional kitchen, and your safety and comfort are our top priority. Please feel free to wear any clothes that will keep you comfortable while you cook, as long as they aren’t made with loose, flowy material, which can be a hazard. If you have long hair, it’s a good idea to tie it back.

+ Do I need to bring anything?

We’ll have aprons and all the equipment you need!

+ What time do we eat?

In most hands-on classes, we’ll devote approximately the first 2 hours to demo and hands-on cooking. After that, we’ll sit down together for a family meal.

+ Do you sell gift cards?

Sure do! You can buy gift cards in any amount, and they'll never expire. Gift cards can be redeemed directly at checkout.

+ May I take photos during class?

Feel free to document your experience with us and share it on social media with the hashtag #intheNOCHI! You can find us on Instagram @nochi_grams, on Twitter @nochi_tweets, or on Facebook. Please leave professional photography and video equipment at home.
