Meet a NOCHI Student: Cora Wilson
Cora Wilson is passionate, dedicated, ambitious, and very well-rounded in culinary arts. She began her journey at the age of 11. Unlike most kids her age, she would be inside watching cooking shows, from Bobby Flay to Cat Cora to Iron Chef. Some family members inspired her and sparked that culinary flame. Cora has spent all her life in Louisiana. She has plans to venture off to other states with her craft. After NOCHI, Cora plans to move her family to South Dakota, 5 months after graduation, where she will open her first restaurant. After 5 years of consistent success, she will move back home temporarily to open her second restaurant and fulfill her duties in her community. Once the success is in place, the final step in her culinary field will be to open her own farm and her legacy will be complete.

What's your favorite seasoning and why?
I love me a nice rub. Grounded onion, garlic, pepper….etc. BBQ is one of my favorite cuisines, and nothing like a good ole rub blend on it and the juices flowing with the seasoning.
