Job Requirements: Host Role Description:
Come and join the JTR team! As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining with effort to deliver outstanding guest service. You will also maintain a proactive approach to solving any guest’s questions or problems and encourage them to return to the establishment. Overseeing daily restaurant reservations, pre-assigning seating where necessary, and communicating with management, service staff and chefs and special guest needs, requests, and VIPS.

Qualifications Functions:
Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
Seat guests and manage the seating chart and dinning flow
Must have strong communication skills and ability to multi-task is required
Must have basic computer skills and experience with computer-based reservations systems preferred
· Ability to follow directions well, make quick decisions, positive attitude, polite, energetic and a willing learner
· Must be organized while under pressure
Ensure knowledge of menu
Perform opening and closing duties, as needed (Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. This position requires standing, sitting, walking, and repetitive motions,

Restaurant Manager Job Description:

JTR is seeking a Restaurant Manager to support leadership in the development and execution of business strategies at Just The Right Touch Bistro Restaurant.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drives sales
Provide direction and clarity to teams on company initiatives
Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
· Front-of-house leadership, including training associates, providing world-class customer service, and taking great care of the equipment and restaurant
Work in partnership with the rest of the Hospitality Leadership team to develop strategies to grow the business
Embrace change and deliver top results no matter the obstacle
Be accountable for financial audits and paperwork: till cash, bank deposits and change requests, daily balancing, and tip tracking
Assume full responsibility for every aspect of the guest experience, and lead all associates during shifts to do the same
Manage, analyze, and create action plans using profit and loss statements
Maintain food cost standards and diagnose food cost issues
Handle escalated employee concerns and issues
Set job expectations for the team and ensures the team is working required schedules
· Manages best hiring practices, ensure we hire friendly, honest, and outgoing staff

Qualifications Functions:
- 3+ years leadership experience in the Hospitality industry
- Prior experience with food service or understanding of food safety
- Strong ability to lead a team and own accountability for specific revenue goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with notable attention to detail
- Strong decision-making abilities, able to work independently, and team player
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Maintain a safe and compliant workplace
- Ensure the organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of kitchens meets all internal and external health and safety standards
- A sense of urgency around completing daily tasks, with the ability to balance priorities- focus on the customer!
