JOIN US FOR OUR POP-UP

Waliimo OPENs FOR LUNCH May 20

Journey to East Africa at Waliimo (wah-LEE-moh), brought to you by the Spring ‘25 cohort. The rich culinary heritage of Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, and beyond takes center stage - infused with the ingredients, techniques, and traditions that define the region. From smoky grilled meats to fragrant rice and vegetable-forward stews, Waliimo invites you to gather, share, and savor the unexpected.

Before our Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts students complete their 100-day certifications, they create a pop-up café as their capstone project. This original concept is dreamed up and executed entirely by the students as their culmination of everything they’ve learned at NOCHI.

100% of proceeds from every student pop-up benefit NOCHI’s Scholarship Fund, and you can donate by attending or click here to support from afar!
